Acupuncture Diploma Program

Intro

The Acupuncture Diploma program offers both the knowledge and the delicate techniques in applying the classic needle types, needle selection, sterilization procedures, needle insertion and removal, cupping, sedation, emergency management and much more.

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Herbology Diploma Program

Intro

The Herbology program covers the theory, purpose, preparation techniques, and the formulas to successfully prescribe herbal remedies and heal various ailments. 

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Practitioner of Oriental Medicine

Intro

This program provides a great opportunity to become a licensed practitioner in Oriental Medicine to practice both acupuncture and herbal medicine. 

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Tui-Na Massage Program

Intro

Tui-Na Massage diploma program explores a high level of expertise in oriental therapies and diagnostic techniques. 

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.

Pan-Canadian Entry-Level Prep

Intro

The purpose of the program is to help current students or graduates of Acupuncture, Herbology, or Practitioner of Oriental Medicine programs prepare for the Pan-Canadian Entry-Level Examination*.

This program does not require approval by Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program

* Pan-Canadian Entry-Level Exam is developed by College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) to assess the graduates of TCM programs for the necessary competencies that meet the requirements of the Registration Regulation and the Entry-Level Occupational Competencies for the Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada.

Note

Graduates of the Diploma of Acupuncture, Herbology, and Practitioner of Oriental Medicine Programs who have met the requirements of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CTCMA) of BC, which includes 60 university credits of liberal arts or sciences, will be eligible to sit for the Canadian national registration exam to become Registered Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Practitioner of TCM in the province of British Columbia. Based on reciprocity agreements, this distinction permits registrants to practice acupuncture across Canada.
