Intensive English Program
This Intensive English Program supports and guides student’s language and communication needs to integrate students whose first language is not English into mainstream Canadian society. Through this program, students will be ready for practical use but also for academic preparation.

You graduate will with:
- The foundation to read, write, speak, and listen in English.
- The confidence to interact with other English speakers and merge into the Canadian culture.
- The pre-requisite to enroll in other programs at Central College without further language testing required.

CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed to help students build English language and communication skills by constantly interacting with real and practical contexts, and prepare the students for the academic and social communities. Each course focuses on language acquisition in four skill areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students may study as many levels as required.
Students will take a written and oral placement test on the first day where they will be placed into the appropriate level of General English class.
